My immigration practice focuses on O-1 and P-1 visas (aka "artist visas") and employment-based (EB) and family-based green cards for artists. Services I offer range from individual consultations to discuss clients' immigration issues to ongoing representation with the goal of obtaining an immigration benefit such as a visa or a green card.
Clients I represent include dancers, theater artists, circus performers, visual artists, musicians, and fashion designers, as well as their families. I also consult with performing arts organizations on immigration issues involving artists from abroad.
Creative professionals seeking immigration benefits are often required to prove that they are extraordinary in their field. As a lawyer and an artist, I can understand the significance of a client's achievements in their artistic field and express the extraordinary qualities of those achievements in language convincing to immigration officials. I have a proven track record of obtaining O-1 approvals and green cards for my clients, most often without requests for evidence (RFEs).
